From the FSU Website, seminoles.com. Florida State Places Four Players On All-ACC Teams.
November 6, 2024
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Six Florida State soccer players were recognized as the
ACC announced the 2024 All-ACC Women's Soccer Awards on Wednesday afternoon. FSU placed four athletes on the All-ACC First, Second, and Third Teams while also placing two athletes on the ACC
All-Freshman Team for a second consecutive season.
Taylor Huff and Jordynn Dudley were named to the All-ACC First Team as the team's two highest scoring returners from last season's national
championship side. FSU has earned multiple appearances on the All-ACC First Team for an eighth consecutive season dating back to 2017.
Huff has been named to the All-ACC First Team for the first
time in her career and has earned All-ACC honors in back-to-back seasons. Huff earned an all-conference honor in all four years of collegiate play as she was named to the All-SEC Second Team in 2021
with Tennessee, All-SEC First Team in 2022 with Tennessee, All-ACC Second Team in 2023, and All-ACC First Team in 2024. She currently leads the team in all scoring metrics with 10 goals and nine
assists for 29 total points.
Dudley has received back-to-back All-ACC First Team honors in her first two seasons at Florida State. Coming off her 2023 ACC Freshman of the Year campaign, she leads
the team in points scored in ACC play with five goals and five assists and is averaging over two points in all 11 games played. She scored multiple goals for the United States at the FIFA U-20 Women's
World Cup to record a bronze medal during the 2024 collegiate campaign.
Heather Gilchrist and Mimi Van Zanten were named to the All-ACC Third Team. Both players were named to the ACC All-Freshman
Team in their respective campaigns.
Gilchrist has anchored the Seminole defense through the past few seasons and has recorded five shutouts and scored her first career goal. The junior made starts
for the United States in the nation's run to a bronze medal at the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. Van Zanten has recorded her first double-digit scoring season with four goals with two assists as a
defender. She has started in all but one game this season and has recorded eight shutouts for the Seminoles. Van Zanten also leads FSU with three game-winning goals as a sophomore.
Wrianna Hudson
and Solai Washington were named to the 2024 ACC All-Freshman Team. Hudson has scored seven goals with five assists while Washington has scored five goals including a brace over No. 8 North Carolina.
The two freshmen were part of an immense freshmen class that has provided 62 points across six field players with four total freshmen each scoring double-digit points.
FSU has earned four honorees
across the three All-ACC teams for the seventh straight season.

From the FSU Website, seminoles.com. No. 1 Florida State Downs South Florida 5-0 In Season Opener.
By Jack Oliaro
TAMPA, Fla. - The No. 1 Florida State soccer team began its national
championship defense with an emphatic 5-0 victory at South Florida on Thursday night. Taylor Huff dished out three assists to tie her career best in a game and FSU scored in its 35th straight game to
break a program record.
The game began with good chances from both sides as Jordynn Dudley's shot was fired just wide while Addie Todd was forced into her first collegiate save. The Seminoles
scored their first goal of the season off an incredible cross from Mimi Van Zanten that deflected off the right post and into the back of the net. Van Zanten scored her second career goal, her first
since the last-second equalizer at North Carolina last season.
FSU doubled its lead after a USF defensive miscue allowed Dudley to tap in the insurance goal to open her 2024 scoring account in the
first half. Dudley has scored in the past three games dating back to the College Cup Semifinals and scored her 15th career goal.
The second half saw further separation as Huff provided her second
assist off to Giana Riley as she unleashed a powerful strike past the keeper for her first goal as a Seminole while Dudley provided a well-driven cross to Marianyela Jimenez for the game's fourth
goal.
Freshman Taylor Suarez scored the final goal off a high-flying cross from Ran Iwai that squeezed past the keeper at the near post to register a goal in her first collegiate game. Florida
State has won its last 16 season opening matches, outsourcing opponents 41-4.

From the FSU Website, seminoles.com. No. 1 FSU Scores 10 Goals In Home Opener; Huff Records Three Goal Hat Trick.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The No. 1 Florida State soccer team (2-0-0) achieved
a record-breaking night, defeating North Florida (1-1-0) 10-0 in the season's home opener on Thursday night. FSU eclipsed its longest-ever unbeaten streak at 25 games and scored double-digit goals for
the first time since 2007.
Taylor Huff became the 18th player in program history to record a hat trick and scored seven points for the Seminoles, one shy of the most points ever scored in a game
for FSU and the first player to record a hat trick since Lauren Flynn's incredible senior night over NC State last season. This marks three straight seasons with a Seminole scoring three or more
goals.
The Seminoles wasted no time taking the lead as Ashlyn Puerta took a rebound off the keeper and fired the shot into the back of the net for her first collegiate goal. The 17 year old
recorded her first goal only three minutes into her first start. Fellow freshman Wrianna Hudson drove through the box and laid off an easy shot for Huff for the second score.
Camille Ashe scored
off a clever set piece before Huff scored her second off a masterful olimpico goal, looping her attempt from the corner spot over the bodies in the box and soaring into the upper left corner .
Freshman Brazilian midfielder Lara Dantas registered her first goal off a well-placed through ball from Peyton McGovern and the Seminoles led by a handful at the break.
Florida State kept the
onslaught rolling with goals from Mimi Van Zanten and Ashe before Solai Washington scored her first career goal. Huff made the defense pay as she was given time and space to unleash a wonderful goal
into the roof of the net and recorded the elusive third goal for a hat trick. Olivia Lebdaoui punctuated the victory with a tenth goal on the night and scored her first goal since 2022 after injuries
kept her sidelined for all of 2023.
FSU recorded 10 or more goals in a game for the fourth time in program history and scored 15 goals in the first two games of a season for only the second time,
the first since 2009 with 7-0 and 8-0 scorelines over Jacksonville and South Alabama respectively.

From the FSU Website, seminoles.com. No. 1 Seminoles Use Three Freshmen Goals To Down Rice.
By Jack Oliaro
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The No. 1 Florida State soccer team (3-0-0) used three
goals from three freshmen to defeat Rice (2-1-0) 3-0 on Thursday night. FSU begins the season unbeaten through three games for a fifth consecutive season.
The Seminoles were able to establish their
dominance early with numerous shots towards goal, recording 20 total shots in the first half. The persistence paid off after Mimi Van Zanten laid a pass off to Ashlyn Puerta who used a deft turn past
the defender and unleashed a beautiful strike into the top right corner for the opening goal. Puerta has scored the first goal of the game in her first two career starts.
The next 45 minutes saw
more of the same as Van Zanten played a great cross into Lara Dantas, her right-footed effort was going wide before Wrianna Hudson tapped in her first-ever goal at the back post to double the
advantage. Dantas put the game to rest with an incredible shot from well past the 18-yard box that was crushed into the back of the net for the third and final goal of the evening.
FSU fired off 39
shots to Rice's one in the contest and has yet to concede a goal after the opening three games of the season. Florida State has had three different freshmen score in back-to-back games.

From the FSU Website, seminoles.com. No. 1 Seminoles Earn 1-1 Draw Over No. 24 Georgia.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The No. 1 Florida State soccer team (3-0-1) earned a 1-1 draw against No. 24
Georgia (1-1-2) on Thursday night. Taylor Huff secured the game-tying goal to record her fourth goal in four games.
The Seminoles began the match with good chances including a strong shot from Huff
that was met by Georgia goalkeeper Jordan Brown. Georgia opened the scoring just inside 15 minutes, marking the first time FSU conceded a goal in the past 320 minutes of play dating back to the
national championship victory over Stanford.
Florida State outshot the Bulldogs 18-4 in the first half and the opportunities kept arriving. A shot from Ashlyn Puerta was saved by Brown on the goal
line before Huff's incredible free kick chance needed a high-flying save. Ran Iwai dished in a well-placed long ball into Huff who drove into the box before firing her left-footed effort into the back
of the net to level the score.
FSU maintains its 27 game unbeaten streak and has tallied over 20 shots in all four games this season. The Seminoles have averaged over 15 shots on goal per game and
scored 19 goals this season. FSU has now conceded just two goals since its ACC Championship victory over Clemson.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The No. 3 Florida State soccer team (5-0-1) sealed a dominant
3-0 road victory over in-state rivals Florida (2-1-3) on Sunday afternoon. FSU defeats Florida for a seventh match and finishes regular season non-conference play unbeaten for a fifth straight

From the FSU Website, seminoles.com. Simmonds and Huff Each Score Twice to Seal Opening ACC Win.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The No. 2 Florida State soccer team (6-0-1) scored a handful of goals
in a 5-1 victory over Syracuse (6-4-1) to begin conference play on Thursday night. Kameron SImmonds and Taylor Huff each scored a brace as FSU pushed its program-best unbeaten streak to 30 games.
FSU's attack was dangerous from the outset and within five minutes Huff's through ball into the box met Peyton McGovern who found Wrianna Hudson for a wide-open shot at the back post for the opening
goal. Hudson scored her third goal of the season and recorded a goal in back-to-back games for the first time in her career.
Carissa Boeckman then found Simmonds with a lovely long ball to double
the lead before Marianyela Jiménez worked through defenders and set up a inch-perfect pass to Simmonds who tucked it away for the three goal advantage. Simmonds has scored her first three goals as a
Seminole in the last two matches.
Simmonds' incredible night continued as she launched a long ball right into Huff's path to allow the team leading goal scorer to seal her seventh goal in seven
games. The Orange tacked on a late goal from long range before Ashlyn Puerta played a well-timed ball to Huff on the back post to register her brace on the night.

From the FSU Website, seminoles.com. FSU-SMU Duel Ends With 1-1 Draw.
By Jack Oliaro
DALLAS, Tex. - The No. 2 Florida State soccer team (6-0-2) settled for a 1-1 draw in the first road
conference game against SMU (6-3-2) on Sunday afternoon. FSU maintains its 31-game unbeaten streak in competition dating back to 2022.
The match began with chances for both sides, Florida State's
best offensive moment in the first half came off a well-placed cross from Ran Iwai finding Taylor Huff as her header glanced just wide of the frame.
Sophomore goalkeeper Addie Todd was tasked with
a fiery Mustangs attack and made several highlight reel saves including an instinctive glove save at her near post inside the first five minutes.
FSU committed a foul inside its own box to concede
a penalty to SMU. After the initial kick was ruled back for encroachment, Addie Todd made an incredible penalty stop as she dove down to her right side and pushed the shot away to keep the game level
going into halftime.
SMU opened the scoring just before the second-half water break with 20 minutes to go. The Seminoles wasted no time as Marianyela Jimeez laid the ball off to Ashlyn Puerta
outside the box before the 17-year old unleashed a ferocious strike just under the crossbar to level the game at 1-1. The freshman scored her third goal of the season and either contributed a goal or
assist in the last three games.

From the FSU Website, seminoles.com. No. 7 Seminoles Defeat Clemson 3-0.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The No. 7 Florida State soccer team (7-0-2, 2-0-1) earned a strong 3-0 victory over Clemson
(4-4-2, 0-3-0) on Saturday night. FSU maintains its 15-game unbeaten streak in ACC play and remains the last unbeaten team in the conference this season.
Prior to the half hour mark, Heather
Gilchrist's header off a free kick marked the best chance in the game and required a save from the Tigers' keeper to keep the game scoreless. The Seminoles made four substitutions in the 27th minute
that saw all four returning U.S. players grace the pitch for the first time since August 18.
Four minutes later, Jordynn Dudley drove the ball towards the box before laying a pass off to Taylor
Suarez who laced a low swinging cross into a sprinting Mimi Van Zanten to score an incredible goal off the crossbar to break the deadlock. Van Zanten scored her fifth career goal and third
game-winning goal of the season.
Florida State pounced on the momentum and two minutes later, Giana Riley found a chance in the box before a challenge from a Clemson defender forced the ball to
Suarez and scored with a smart, right-footed finish to push the advantage to two. Suarez recorded her second goal in only her third career game for FSU.
The Seminoles were able to put the game out
of reach after Wrianna Hudson found fellow freshman Lara Dantas open to bury her effort into the bottom left corner and seal the victory.

Florida State 1, Boston College 0
10/12/2024, Newton, Mass.
From the FSU Website, seminoles.com. Dudley Scores Second-Half Winner at Boston College.
NEWTON, Mass. - The No. 22 Florida State soccer team (8-2-2, 3-2-1 ACC) used a clinical
second-half goal from Jordynn Dudley to take a 1-0 road victory over Boston College (10-4-1, 2-3-1 ACC). FSU extends its scoring streak to 46 straight games, the longest in program history.
Both
sides had good chances to start as Heather Gilchrist blocked a charging Boston College shot early before Kameron Simmonds nearly snuck the game's first goal in off a corner kick.
FSU nearly took
the lead just before the break as Wrianna Hudson had tucked a shot away at the front post before being called for offsides. Taylor Huff's shot off a free kick was tantalizingly close to the opener as
it drifted just wide.
After the several close chances, Huff charged toward the open midfield space and found Dudley off the flank, allowing the reigning national freshman of the year to drive into
the box and squeeze a powerful low shot across goal and into the bottom left corner. Dudley scored her third goal in just her fourth start this season.
Hudson and Dudley continued to pressure and
stress the Eagles defense but the Boston College keeper made some timely stops to keep the game at one score.
Dudley has scored in back-to-back games for the first time since lifting the program's
fourth national championship against Stanford and has scored two goals and two assists in the past four matches.

10/17/2024, Tallahassee
From the FSU Website, seminoles.com. Seminoles Dominate No. 23 Virginia In 4-0 Victory.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The No. 22 Florida State soccer team (9-2-2, 4-2-1) secured a dominant 4-0 home
victory over No. 23 Virginia (10-5-0, 3-5-0) in primetime on Thursday night. The Seminoles extended their 23-game unbeaten streak at home, tied for the fourth-longest stretch in program history.
FSU applied strong pressure early and was able to strike as Taylor Huff opened the scoring with a header off a corner kick. Huff registered her ninth goal of the season and pushed her team-leading
point total to 24.
Four minutes later, Solai Washington was awarded a penalty kick after being taken down in the box and tucked her shot into the bottom left corner to double the advantage.
Florida State continued to ride the momentum as Kameron Simmonds sent in a long-range cross and drew the Virginia keeper out of the six-yard box. The jumble allowed an opportunistic Jordynn Dudley to
redirect the ball off her head into Wrianna Hudson's path for a third goal inside the first half. Hudson secured her fourth goal of the season and moved to second in total points with 12.
The
Seminoles outshot Virginia 12-1 in the first half and sustained the pressure in the second half. The performance was topped off with Giana Riley isolating her defender before beautifully curling her
shot off the post to score her first goal since returning from the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.
FSU secured its fourth win by a four-goal margin this season and recorded its first multi-goal game
since the 3-0 victory over Clemson. The Seminoles now have seven players with double-digit points and locked down a second straight shutout.

From the FSU Website, seminoles.com. No. 22 FSU Puts Seven Past Pittsburgh.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The No. 22 Florida State soccer team (10-2-2, 5-2-1) dominated Pittsburgh 7-1 in the
Seminole Heritage game on Sunday afternoon. The Seminoles extended their 24-game unbeaten streak at home and scored the second most goals in a single game this season.
Florida State scored seven
goals over the Panthers, this marks the first time the Seminoles have scored seven goals against a conference opponent since the 7-0 victory over Clemson in 2012.
FSU brought the heat early as
Jordynn Dudley weaved through defenders to score less than five minutes into the first half. Dudley scored her fourth goal of the season and is currently averaging two points a start.
Wrianna
Hudson came off the bench and made an immediate impact as she struck her shot into the back of the net before registering a second goal with less than a minute left in the first half. Hudson recorded
her first career multi-goal game and moved to second in team goals.
Florida State continued to establish physical play through the second half, putting consistent pressure on Pittsburgh's defense.
Solai Washington laid off a pass to Huff and she tucked away her tenth goal of the season. Huff joins the double-digit scoring club and becomes just the fourth Seminole in the past five seasons to
score 10+ goals.
Following Pittsburgh's lone goal on the day, Washington made her way onto the scoring sheet as she curled her hammering effort past the keeper to make it a handful. The freshman
has scored in back-to-back games for the first time in her career.
Defender Heather Gilchrist scored her first collegiate goal off a corner kick before Giana Riley fought hard for a breakaway goal
with only 52 seconds left in the game.

Florida State 4, North Carolina 2
10/25/2024, Tallahassee
From the FSU Website, seminoles.com. No. 17 Seminoles Top No. 4 UNC In Senior Night Victory.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The No. 17 Florida State soccer team (11-2-2, 6-2-1 ACC) used two second
half goals to defeat No. 4 North Carolina (14-3-0, 7-2-0 ACC) 4-2 on senior night on Friday night. Underclassmen Jordynn Dudley and Solai Washington each scored a brace to extend the 25-game unbeaten
streak at home, the third longest in program history.
After both sides had spells of momentum, Florida State capitalized off a set piece chance as Taylor Huff's upper-left corner shot was denied by
the Tar Heels keeper before the ball made its way back to Huff as she floated a ball to Sophia Nguyen who headed the ball down into the path of Dudley who struck the opener. Dudley scored her fifth
goal of the season in just her seventh start.
Less than five minutes later, a UNC defender dropped a pass back to her keeper before it was intercepted by Washington. After swooping past the keeper,
she slotted her effort into the back of the net for the 2-0 lead. Washington has scored in three consecutive games after recording just one goal before the stretch.
The No. 4 team in the nation
responded swiftly with two back post goals off corner kicks to leave the game level after the first 45 minutes.
The in-form Seminoles came out of the break with intensity and intention, resulting
in several great chances. Dudley drove through the UNC side of the pitch and laid off a pass to Washington, the freshman unleashed a shot off her left foot into the opposite side netting and reclaimed
the lead. Washington recorded her first-ever multiple goal performance against a top-five opponent.
FSU was able to pull away midway through the second half as Wrianna Hudson provided a towering
header into Dudley's path which she dealt with accordingly to extend the Seminole lead. Dudley has recorded multi-goal performances against North Carolina in back-to-back matchups.
Florida State
claimed victory against North Carolina in the 50th matchup between the two sides and took all three points at home for the first time since 2015. This also marked the first-ever victory by multiple
scores against the Tar Heels.

No. 6 FSU Clinches ACC Tournament Berth With 1-0 Win At Miami.
By Jack Oliaro
CORAL GABLES, Fla. - The No. 6 Florida State soccer team (12-2-2, 7-2-1
ACC) concluded the regular season with a 1-0 victory over in-state rival Miami (5-8-4, 1-6-3 ACC) on Thursday night. The Seminoles qualified for the 2024 ACC Women's Soccer Tournament, FSU has
appeared in all 30 tournaments since the program's inception.
The Seminoles controlled the early run of play and were able to create some dangerous chances. Marianyela Jiménez received the ball
and dashed into the box, before making a deft move to send the Miami defender sliding and fired a low driven shot to force a save from the Miami goalkeeper.
As the first half drew to a close, FSU
made seven substitution changes. Minutes later, Ashlyn Puerta made a quick throw-in to Olivia Lebdaoui who flicked the ball to Camille Ashe, Ashe followed suit and flicked the ball to Wrianna Hudson.
Hudson controlled the ball off her chest, fired her half-volley shot low and away, and put the Seminoles up just before the break. All four players linked in the build-up of the goal had come off the
bench.
Florida State nearly doubled its advantage off Solai Washington's tight near post shot that was only met by the Hurricanes' keeper's outstretched leg. FSU finished through the remainder of
the second half and clinched its spot in the ACC Tournament.
The Seminoles now hold a five-game winning streak over Miami and end the regular season with four straight victories. Hudson has
recorded a point in four straight games and scored four goals in the last four appearances.

of the net. Jimenez's early strike was just her second goal of the campaign and the fastest goal scored. by a Seminole this season.

double the lead with a skillfully executed combination play that allowed Sophia Nguyen to unleash an incredible goal into the bottom left corner. Nguyen scored her first goal of the season and her

Florida State 1, Wake Forest 1
11/07/2024, ACC, 2OT, PK 3-1 Florida State advances, Cary, N.C.
From the FSU Website, seminoles.com. Florida State Clinches Fifth Straight ACC Championship Appearance On Penalty Shootout.
CARY, N.C. - The No. 6 Florida State soccer team used two
incredible penalty kick saves from Addie Todd to knock out No. 3 Wake Forest and advance to the final of the 2024 Ally ACC Women's Championship. The Seminoles became the first team to advance to a
fifth straight ACC title game in 15 years.
Both sides had quick spurts of chances out of the gate as Todd made an outstretched right leg save to deny the early Deacon chance while Marianyela
Jimenez's shot whistled just wide. Freshman Solai Washington unleashed a lethal effort that forced the Wake Forest keeper into the diving save to keep the game level. Todd ended the first half with an
instinctive save off a low driven free kick.
The next 45 saw the Seminoles take full control as Jordynn Dudley laid a pass off to Taylor Huff which she drove low and true into the back of the net
to take the lead. Huff scored her 11th goal of the season and eclipsed the 30-point mark inside 20 games. Huff nearly doubled the advantage before the goal was correctly disallowed off an offsides
call.
Wake Forest scored the equalizer inside the final 10 minutes to draw it level and nearly stole a lead if it weren't for Todd making an outrageous full extension to deny the winner. FSU was
nearly awarded a penalty kick inside the final two minutes as Washington was challenged inside the box, after further review the penalty wasn't given and the first 90 minutes concluded.
Jimenez was
denied at the near post off an inch-perfect cross before Dudley's shot was met with a save in the second overtime period. FSU dominated the 20 minutes of overtime with eight total shots while the
Deacons recorded none. The game was to be decided on penalty kicks.
After both teams missed and scored one each, Todd made a low dive to her right to save the shot and gave the Seminoles a 2-1 lead
after three penalties from each side. Washington blasted her penalty into the upper left corner to set up the game-winning moment. Todd read the penalty the whole way through, leaning left as the shot
was taken and made another incredible outstretched save to send Florida State to the ACC championship game.
FSU has now won 11 straight games at the ACC Tournament. The Seminoles haven't lost a
penalty shootout in the ACC Tournament since 2008 and have won all five occasions since.

Florida State 3, North Carolina 2
11/10/2024, ACC Championship, Cary, N.C.
From the FSU Website, seminoles.com. Florida State Claims Fifth Consecutive ACC Tournament Championship.
CARY, N.C. - The No. 6 Florida State soccer team claimed its 11th ACC Tournament
Championship with a thrilling 3-2 comeback victory over No. 8 North Carolina on Sunday afternoon. The Seminoles earned their fifth consecutive ACC Tournament championship, winning 10 of the last 12
conference titles.
North Carolina began with the early pressure as the Heels drove towards the box and fired a dangerous shot across the face of goal. Addie Todd was forced into an instant left
palm save to deflect the shot just wide of the frame. UNC opened the scoring with a penalty kick conversion.
Florida State responded within minutes as the Seminole corner kick was cleared out and
fell into Taylor Suarez's path. The Charlotte, North Carolina, native lined her shot up and unleashed a bullet into the bottom left corner to equalize. The freshman scored her third goal of the season
and her second goal since returning from the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.
UNC was able to snatch the lead just before halftime off a high-flying header to give the Heels the advantage. FSU had
conceded two goals to North Carolina for the second straight meeting this season and had not trailed in the conference title match since 2009.
Just after passing the 60-minute mark, Ashlyn Puerta
came in as a substitute and just seconds into her outing, she was fouled inside the box and granted Florida State a penalty. Senior captain Taylor Huff stepped up to the spot and slotted her effort
far into the side netting for a near-perfect penalty to level the game. Huff scored her 12th goal of the campaign.
Florida State stole the momentum and began to control the run of play. Huff
whipped in a dangerous cross that the UNC defense failed to clear. Jordynn Dudley was able to feed the ball while being challenged to freshman Wrianna Hudson who made an unforgettable left footed
half-volley past the keeper to snatch the lead back. Hudson scored her eighth goal of the season and eclipsed the 20-point mark.
Despite North Carolina's best efforts, FSU continued to see the game
out and made more dangerous chances before the final whistle was blown.
FSU has won 11 straight games in the ACC championship match and has defeated North Carolina on five separate occasions during
that stretch. The Seminoles have also won 12 straight games at the ACC Tournament.
Head coach Brian Pensky becomes just the third coach in the history of the competition to claim three straight
titles, the former being former head coach Mark Krikorian.
Ran Iwai concludes her fifth and final campaign with her fifth conference title, joining Clara Robbins as the lone two Seminoles to
achieve the feat.
Five Seminoles were named to the 2024 ACC All-Tournament Team. Huff was named the ACC Tournament MVP and became the fourth Seminole in the last five seasons to earn the honor. She
was joined on the All-Tournament team by Todd, Solai Washington, Dudley, and Heather Gilchrist.

From the FSU Website, seminoles.com. Seminoles Fire Eight Goals In NCAA Tournament First Round.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The No. 1 seeded Florida State soccer team recorded its largest-ever
postseason win with an 8-0 victory over Samford in the NCAA Tournament First Round. The Seminoles recorded their 20th consecutive first round win.
FSU wasted no time establishing its authority on
the run of play as Sophia Nguyen sent in a dangerous floating cross that Jordynn Dudley met mid-air and headed down for a towering opening goal to kickoff the postseason. Dudley scored her fifth
career tournament goal and has scored in three consecutive postseason matches dating back to last year's College Cup Semifinals.
Dudley recorded her next point just a few minutes later as Carissa
Boeckmann dispatched her first-ever goal for the garnet and gold. Taylor Suarez was able to deal her second consecutive assist off to Marianyela Jiménez who fired a tight shot into the bottom corner
off a tough angle to put the Seminoles up three goals going into the break.
FSU continued its fiery attack as ACC All-Tournament honoree Solai Washington notched a quick goal coming out of the
half. Huff connected with Dudley to make it a handful, the two leaders in scoring eclipsed 60 combined points. Olivia Lebdaoui curled her effort into the top right corner before Wrianna Hudson scored
an incredible goal off the crossbar to send the home crowd into full roar.
Ashlyn Puerta finished the game off with a clean strike to score the record-breaking goal, eight goals becomes the most
scored in a single postseason game in program history. This marks the most goals scored by FSU in the NCAA Tournament since defeating Mississippi Valley State by seven goals in 2008. FSU has recorded
five games with five plus goals this season.
Dudley recorded an incredible offensive performance with her first career six-point game with two goals and two assists in just 46 minutes of action.
The All-ACC First Team honoree has recorded 27 total points and leads the team with 11 total assists.
