FSU Freshmen Putz and Monfils Win Doubles At Bedford Cup.
TAMPA, Fla. - Florida State freshmen Laura Putz and Maelie Monfils won the Women's Open doubles at the Bedford Cup in Tampa.
The pair kicked off their first colligate match with a 6-2 win over Grace Schumacher and Ireland Simme of the University of South Florida in the east draw quarterfinals.
Putz and Monfils went on to win 6-4 over Carla Galmiche and Amber McGinnis of FAU in the semifinal round and ended the tournament with a 6-4 victory over Anslee Long and Annabelle Davis of UNF to secure the Bedford Cup.
The tournament's Sportsmanship Award was awarded to sophomore Cade Criccho.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Florida State women's tennis earned multiple notable victories at the ITA Southeast Regional in Gainesville, as the Seminoles finished with seven wins in the singles draw and five in the doubles draw.
Freshman Maelie Monfils and senior Ellie Schoppe defeated the No. 1 seed Mai Nirundorn and Guilermina Grant of Georgia 8-1 to advance to the quarterfinals of the doubles draw. The pair also defeated Petja Drame and Katerina Mandelikova of FAU 8-6 in the opening round. No. 95 Schoppe opened singles play with a 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 over Grace Schumacher of USF.
Senior Anna Arkadinoau defeated Cheri Darley of Stetson 7-5, 4-6, 6-4 in the singles round of 64. The 55th-ranked Arkadianou went on to defeat Amy Kaplan of UNF 6-3, 6-3 in the round of 32.
No. 65 Vic Allen won 6-2, 6-1 over Carla Galmiche of FAU in the opening round and 6-0, 6-4 over Kate Sharabura of Georgia Tech to advance to the round of 16.
Allen and Arkadianou advanced to the quarterfinals of the doubles draw after an 8-0 victory over Jalayah Shaw and Janey Imbo Nloga of Bethune-Cookman and an 8-7 thriller over Lee Carol and Kylie Bilchev of Georgia Tech.

Florida State Dominates At UNF Invite.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Florida State women's tennis dominated at the UNF Invite to conclude 2023 fall season.
The Seminoles accumulated an astonishing 22 total victories, which included 15 wins in singles and seven wins in doubles.
Senior Ellie Schoppe and freshman Maelie Monfils kicked off the week with a 3-0 start in doubles and were winners of the Flight 2 doubles bracket. The pair won 6-1 over Shona Nakano and Emma Wilkins of UNC Charlotte, 6-3 over Melisa Senli and Marta Font of USF, and 6-3 over Elisabeth Dunac and Mari Lene Hovda of Indiana.
Senior Anna Arkadinaou earned three single victories and won the Flight A singles bracket. The 55th-ranked Arkadianou won 7-6 (3), 6-1 over Nicole Teodosescu of Indiana, 6-4, 6-4 over Grace Schumacher of USF, and 7-6 (3), 4-6, 7-6 (5) over Annabelle Davis of UNF.
No. 95 Schoppe went 3-0 in singles and won the Flight B singles bracket. Schoppe won 6-1, 6-3 over Amy Kaplan of UNF, 2-6, 7-5, 6-4 over Lucia Aranda of UNC Charlotte, and 7-5, 6-4 over Cheri Darley of Stetson.
Monfils finished 3-0 in singles and was crowned the winner of the Flight D singles bracket. Monfils won 7-6 (8), 6-0 over Wilkins, 6-2, 6-3 over Kelly Gonzalez of USF, and 6-2, 6-1 over Maja Pietrowicz of Nebraska.
Millie Bissett and Vic Allen won three doubles matches and were winners of the Flight 1 doubles bracket. The duo won 6-1 over Sarah L'allier and Teodosescu of Indiana, 6-4 over Lidia Gonzalez and Elizzabeth Eades of Kentucky, and 6-4 over Rpahaelle Lacasse and Pietrowicz of Nebraska.
No. 65 Allen finished 2-0 in singles with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Elizabeth Stevens of Kentucky and 6-1, 6-2 over Teodosescu of Indiana.
Arkadianou and sophomore Cade Cricchio won 6-3 over Ana Carmen Zamburek and Jillian Roa of Nebraska.
Cricchio went on to win 6-1, 6-4 over Pilar Astigarragara Harper of Stetson and 6-4, 7-5 over Alisa Lyshko of UNF.
Sophomore Bissett ended the weekend with two singles victories, with a 5-7, 6-1, 6-2 win over Teodosescu of Indiana and 6-3, 6-2 over Senli of USF.

Florida State Thrives At Weinman Foundation Invitation.
HONOLULU, Hawaii - Florida State women's tennis put up an impressive performance at the Weinman Foundation Invitational hosted by the University of Hawaii to begin the 2024 season.
The Seminoles earned a total of 16 victories and swept in singles on the final day, as they won all eight matches.
The nation's 48th-ranked duo of Ellie Schoppe and Maelie Monfils kicked off the tournament with a 6-4 victory over Kara Wheatley and Tina Li of BYU. Schoppe went on to win 4-6, 6-1, 6-0 against Jacque Dunyon of BYU, 6-3, 6-1 over No. 12 Hannah Moeller of Cal, and 6-3, 6-2 over Nikola Homolkova of Hawaii.
Senior Vic Allen shined all weekend as she defeated Moeller 6-3, 6-3, won 7-5, 1-6, 6-2 over No. 17 Jessica Alsola of Cal, and 6-2, 6-1 over Ana Vilcek of Hawaii.
Freshman Chiara Di Genova earned her first collegiate singles and doubles victory as she won 6-2, 6-1 over Hannah Galindo of Hawaii and 6-1 with Cade Cricchio over Joelle Lanz and Isabella Pampulov of Hawaii.
Anna Arkadianou and Monfils won 7-5 over Anna Kern and Galindo of Hawaii. Arkadianou finished the weekend with a 6-3, 7-6 (4) victory over Nelly Knezkova of Hawaii. Monfils also defeated Kern 6-2, 6-0 in singles.
Sophomore Millie Bissett earned a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Lanz to collect her first victory of the tournament.
Freshman Laura Putz and Cricchio won 6-2 over Madison Smith and Elizabeth Tullis of BYU. Cricchio went on to win 6-1, 6-0 over Kaitlyn Ralar of Hawaii and Putz defeated Makenna Thiel of Cal to give the Seminoles the sweep.

FSU Wins Thriller In Home Opener.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida State women's tennis team (1-0) defeated Old Dominion (0-1) 4-3 in a thrilling home opener Tuesday at the FSU Indoor Tennis Facility.
"What an exciting way to start off the spring season," head coach Jennifer Hyde said. "The girls responded unbelievably well and I'm super proud of the team."
The Seminoles jumped out quick as sophomore Millie Bissett and freshman Laura Putz won 6-2 at No. 3 doubles, but the Monarchs responded with wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles to clinch the doubles point and the 1-0 lead.
Florida State started strong in singles, winning four out of six first sets. Senior Ellie Schoppe gave FSU its first team point by winning 6-3, 6-1 at No. 2 singles to make the match 1-1.
Old Dominion responded by securing three out of the five second sets to send the other five matches into third sets.
Despite dropping the first set, Putz broke the tie and won 3-6, 6-2, 6-2 at No. 6 singles. Senior Anna Arkadianou extended the lead to 3-1 as she won 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 at No. 3 singles. Old Dominion continued to fight as they won at No. 5 and No. 1 singles and made the match 3-3.
The Seminoles were able to come away with the victory when Kristyna Lavickova won 4-6, 6-3, 7-5 at No. 4 singles to give the Florida State its first victory of the 2024 season.
"It was really good to see Kristyna step up and get the clinch at the end," Hyde said. "It's her first singles match back since May of last year, due to her surgery."

AUSTIN, Texas - The Florida State women's tennis team (2-0) defeated SMU (1-3) 4-2 in the opening round of the ITA Kickoff at the Texas Tennis Center.
The Seminoles started out hot as Millie Bissett and freshman Laura Putz won 6-2 at No. 3 doubles and Anna Arkadianou and Kristyna Lavickova won 6-4 at No. 1 doubles to give Florida State the early 1-0 lead. Ellie Schoppe and Eva Shaw were up 5-4 when the doubles point was clinched.
Florida State took a 2-0 lead when Bissett earned an impressive 6-4, 6-1 win at No. 5 singles over Maja Makoric.
The Mustangs responded by winning four out of the six first sets to tighten up the match. SMU secured victories at No. 3 and No. 4 singles to make the match 2-2.
The Seminoles continued to battle as they won four out of the six second sets and sent three matches to a third set. Despite dropping the first set, Arkadianou capitalized on the third set and won 1-6, 7-5, 6-1 to give the Seminoles the 3-2 lead.
Schoppe clinched the match for Florida State as she won 4-6, 7-6 (3), 6-3 to give the Seminoles the 4-2 victory. Maelie Monfils was leading 7-5, 5-7, 5-4 when the team win was clinched.

Florida State Sweeps Doubleheader.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida State women's tennis team (4-2) swept both UAB (1-6) 7-0 and Georgia State (1-5) 4-0 at the Scott Speicher Tennis Center on Saturday.
"It was a great clean day of tennis; everybody did their jobs today and it was very efficient," head coach Jennifer Hyde said. "We did exactly what we needed to do today."
The Seminoles did not lose a single set and won a combined 24 sets in singles and doubles.
In the first match, Florida State secured the doubles point with a win at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles. The team would go on to win every singles match.
The Seminoles repeated their success in the second match as they won at No. 3 and No. 1 doubles to take the early 1-0 lead. Florida State clinched the match with wins at No. 3, No. 2, and No. 4 singles.
No. 37 Ellie Schoppe, No. 47 Vic Allen, Anna Arkadianou, Millie Bissett, and Kristyna Lavickova each earned three wins in the two matches.

Florida State Sweeps Doubleheader.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida State women's tennis team (4-2) swept both UAB (1-6) 7-0 and Georgia State (1-5) 4-0 at the Scott Speicher Tennis Center on Saturday.
"It was a great clean day of tennis; everybody did their jobs today and it was very efficient," head coach Jennifer Hyde said. "We did exactly what we needed to do today."
The Seminoles did not lose a single set and won a combined 24 sets in singles and doubles.
In the first match, Florida State secured the doubles point with a win at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles. The team would go on to win every singles match.
The Seminoles repeated their success in the second match as they won at No. 3 and No. 1 doubles to take the early 1-0 lead. Florida State clinched the match with wins at No. 3, No. 2, and No. 4 singles.
No. 37 Ellie Schoppe, No. 47 Vic Allen, Anna Arkadianou, Millie Bissett, and Kristyna Lavickova each earned three wins in the two matches.
Freshmen Eva Shaw picked up her first singles victory of the spring as she won 6-1, 6-3 at No. 3 singles vs. UAB.
The 45th-ranked duo of Maelie Monfils and Schoppe won 6-2 over UAB and 6-1 against Georgia State in their doubles matches.
Sophomore Cade Cricchio earned her first doubles victory this spring, as she and Lavickova won 6-0 at No. 3 doubles against the Panthers.
Freshmen Laura Putz finished the day with a win in singles and doubles. Putz won 6-3, 6-0 at No. 6 singles and 6-3 at No. 3 doubles with Bissett against the Blazers.

Florida State Falls in Battle Against No. 20 Tennessee.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida State women's tennis team (4-3) fell 4-3 against No. 20 Tennessee (8-2) in an electric atmosphere at the Scott Speicher Tennis Center on Sunday.
The Vols kicked off the match with a 6-2 win at No. 3 doubles, but the Seminoles responded with a 7-5 win at No. 2 doubles from 45th-ranked Ellie Schoppe and Maelie Monfils. Florida State secured the doubles point in an intense fashion as Vic Allen and Anna Arkadinaou won 7-6 (2) at No. 1 doubles over the nation's 29th-ranked pair to take the early 1-0 lead.
Tennessee tied the match at 1-1 as it won 6-4, 6-1 at No. 6 singles.
Florida State retook the lead as No. 47 Allen won 7-5, 6-2 against Elza Tomase at No. 2 singles to make the match 2-1 before the Vols yet again tied up at the match at 2-2 with a win at No. 3 singles.
The Seminoles continued to fight as sophomore Millie Bissett won 7-6 (5), 2-6, 6-1 against the 83rd-ranked Catherine Aulia at No. 4 singles.
Tennessee closed out the match with victories at No. 1 and No. 5 singles. Despite the loss, Florida State took the final three matches to third sets and fought hard all day.

The Tar Heels entered singles with a 1-0 lead after winning at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles. The Seminoles were tied 5-5 at No. 3 singles before the doubles point was clinched.
North Carolina clinched the match with wins at No. 1, No. 4, and No. 6 singles.
Ellie Schoppe and Kristyna Lavickova fought hard to capture three-set victories. Schoppe defeated the No. 14 Caron Tanguilig 4-6, 6-3, 6-1 at No. 2 singles. Schoppe now has four singles wins on the season. Sophomore Kristyna Lavickova also won 6-1, 5-7, 6-1 at No. 5 singles.

Florida State Dominates No. 14 Duke.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida State women's tennis team (5-4, 1-1 ACC) earns it's first ranked victory of the season as the Seminoles won 6-1 against No. 14 Duke (6-4, 0-2 ACC) at the Scott Speicher Tennis Center on Sunday.
"We fired on all cylinders today and took control of the match after the doubles point and never let up," head coach Jennifer Hyde said. "It is hard to do, especially against a very good Duke team, and I am so glad we gave that effort today."
Florida State started off strong as Ellie Schoppe and Kristyna Lavickova won 7-6 (4) at No. 2 doubles. Anna Arkadianou and Vic Allen followed by winning 7-6 (1) at No. 1 doubles to secure the doubles point and take the early 1-0 lead.
The Seminoles continued the momentum as they won five of their first sets and tacked onto their lead as sophomore Millie Bissett won 6-3, 6-1 at No. 4 singles.
Duke responded with a win at No. 5 singles to cut the deficit.
Florida State's Anna Arkadianou earned an incredible 6-1, 6-1 win over the 76th-ranked Katie Codd put the Seminoles ahead 3-1.
Senior Ellie Schoppe clinched the match as she defeated No. 80 Shavit Kimchi 6-2, 7-5. The Seminoles did not stop there as Laura Putz won 7-5, 6-1 and Allen won 6-1, 7-5 to conclude the day.
Sunday's victory was FSU's highest-ranked win since defeated No. 10 Duke 4-2 on March 25, 2022.

"We got to work on a lot of things today and were able to get everybody in the lineup," deputy head coach Mark Ardizzone said. "These wins will reenergize the team for our upcoming match against a great Miami team."

Florida State Falls to No. 23 Miami.
CORAL GABLES, Fla. - The Florida State women's tennis team (7-5, 1-2 ACC) fell to No. 23 Miami (4-3, 2-1 ACC) 5-2 at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center in Coral Gables on Sunday.
The Hurricanes clinched the doubles point and entered singles with a 1-0 lead after sweeping three doubles matches.
The Seminoles responded by winning their first sets at No. 2 and No. 5 singles. Miami won at No. 1, No. 4 and No. 6 singles to clinch the match.
Despite the loss, the Seminoles continued to battle and won two of the remaining matches.
The nation's 40th-ranked singles player Ellie Schoppe defeated No. 58 Isabella Pfenning 7-6 (8), 6-3 at No. 2 singles. The win extended Schoppe's singles win streak to five matches and is her fourth ranked singles victory this spring.

The Seminoles kicked off doubles with a 6-2 win at No. 2 doubles. The Irish responded with wins at No. 3 and No. 1 doubles to take the 1-0 lead.
Sophomore Millie Bissett earned a 6-4, 6-3 victory against Carrie Beckman at No. 4 singles to tie the match at 1-1.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Florida State women's tennis team (8-6, 2-3 ACC) defeated Louisville (4-11, 0-7 ACC) 5-1 at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center in Louisville, Kentucky, on Sunday.
The Seminoles started out hot with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles to take the early 1-0 lead.
Florida State continued to dominate as Millie Bissett won 6-1, 6-0 against Berta Miret at No. 4 singles to give the Seminoles a 2-0 lead.
The Cardinals gained a point when Eva Shaw medically retired at No. 6 singles. Shaw was up 6-0, 5-2 prior to the retirement.
Anna Arkadianou won 6-1, 6-0 against Germany Davis at No. 3 singles to extend the lead to 3-1.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida State women's tennis team (9-6, 3-3 ACC) dominated No. 24 Georgia Tech (8-7, 4-3 ACC) 6-1 at the FSU Indoor Tennis Center on Friday.
"Every single court today was so determined and it was a great team win," head coach Jennifer Hyde said. "It's great to see us be on the right track heading into the beginning of April."
The Yellow Jackets kicked off doubles with a win at No. 3. The Seminoles responded with a 6-3 win at No. 3. Florida State captured the doubles with a 7-6 (3) win over the nation's NO. 12-ranked duo with Vic Allena and Millie Bissett acoming back from being down 1-5.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida State women's tennis team (11-6, 5-3 ACC) dominated No. 47 Syracuse (9-8, 3-7) 7-0 at the Scott Speicher Tennis Center on Friday.
"Beating an ACC team 7-0 is a major accomplishment and it was great way to start the weekend," head coach Jennifer Hyde said.
The Seminoles kicked off the match with wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles to take the 1-0 lead. Cade Cricchio and Kristyna Lavickova were tied 4-4 at No. 3 when the doubles point was clinched.
Senior Anna Arkadianou entered singles on fire, as she won in straight sets 6-0, 6-1 over Emilie Elde at No. 3 singles. Freshman Maelie Monfils gave the Seminoles a 3-0 lead as she defeated Constance Levivier 6-4, 6-2 at No. 6 singles.

Florida State Sweeps Boston College For Fifth Straight Win.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida State women's tennis team (12-6, 6-3 ACC) swept No. 70 Boston College (6-11, 1-10) 7-0 at the Scott Speicher Tennis Center on Sunday and extending its winning streak to five straight matches.
Florida State recognized seniors Vic Allen, Anna Arkadianou and Ellie Schoppe in a ceremony prior to the group's final regular season home match at FSU.
"What a great win and an excellent way to send off our seniors," head coach Jennifer Hyde said. "Sweeping a weekend like this really helps us build momentum for the next three weekends."
The Seminoles started the day with a 6-0 win by Allen and Millie Bissett at No. 1 doubles. Arkadianou and Schoppe clinched the doubles point with a 6-3 win at No. 2 to take the 1-0 lead.
Arkadianou captured her 13th singles win of the season as she defeated Muskan Mahajan 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3. Bissett followed with a 6-4, 6-1 win over Stephanie Sanchez at No. 4 to put Florida State one point away from victory.
Lavickova earned her second straight match-clinching point with a 6-1, 6-4 win at No. 4 singles against Tola Glowacka.
Schoppe added to the lead as she won 6-2, 6-4 against Natalie Eordekian at No. 2 singles. Shortly after, Allen earned a 6-3, 6-4 victory over 106th-ranked Marice Aguiar at No. 1 singles.

Florida State Defeats Wake Forest.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The No. 28 Florida State women's tennis team (13-6, 7-3 ACC) defeated No. 31 Wake Forest (14-10, 5-5) 5-2 at the Wake Forest Tennis Center on Friday and extended its winning streak to six straight matches.
"Today was a complete team effort in some tough playing conditions," head coach Jennifer Hyde said.
The 29th-ranked duo of Vic Allen and Millie Bissett kicked off the match with a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles. This win extended their doubles win streak to seven. Wake Forest responded with a 6-4 win at No. 2.
After being down 5-2, Cade Cricchio and Laura Putz clinched the doubles point with a 7-5 win at No. 3 to give Florida State the 1-0 lead.
The Deacon Demons responded with a win at No. 6 singles to tie the match at 1-1. The remaining five matches went to third sets.

The Wolfpack clinched the doubles point and entered singles with a 1-0 lead after capturing wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles. Cade Cricchio and Laura Putz concluded doubles with a 6-2 victory at No. 3.

CARY, N.C. - The No. 3 seed Florida State women's tennis team (16-7) defeated the No. 6 seed and 20th-ranked Miami (10-7) 4-1 in the quarterfinal round of the ACC Championships at the Cary Tennis Park. FSU advanced to the semifinals of the conference tournament for the 20th time in program history and first since 2019.
Due to inclement weather, the start of the match was delayed two-and-a-half hours.
The nation's 27th-ranked pair pf Vic Allen and Millie Bisset kicked off doubles with a dominant 6-1 victory at No. 1 against the 29th-ranked Isabella Pfenning and Xinyi Nong.

The Bulldogs started the match with a 6-0 win at No. 3 doubles before the nation's 17th-ranked pair of Vic Allen and Millie Bissett responded with a 6-4 win against the 14th-ranked duo of Dasha Vidmanova and Aysegul Mert at No. 1.

Georgia responded with wins at No. 5, No. 6, No. 1, and No. 2 singles to earn the 4-1 win.
Despite the loss, Florida State battled hard all day. Bissett secured a 6-4 first-set victory at No. 4 singles and Arkadianou earned a 6-3 first-set decision at No. 3.
Florida State's season has come to an end in a year with lots of memorable moments. The Seminoles finished the year with nine ranked wins, advanced to their 20th ACC semifinal, and made the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the seventh consecutive postseason appearance. Several athletes are expected to return to help Florida State be a contender once again next season.

Allen Wins In Thriller to Advance To Round of 32 In the NCAA Singles Tournament.

STILLWATER, Okla. - Florida State's Vic Allen defeated Anastasiya Komar 6-4, 2-6, 7-6 (5) in the round of 64 in the NCAA Singles Championship on Monday.
Allen started the match off strong, as she claimed the first set 6-4 to take the early lead on Komar's home court.
When the match was tied 2-2 in the second set, Komar responded by winning four straight games to even the match.
Allen climbed out of a 3-1 deficit in the third set and tied the set at 4-4. Komar followed by winning the next game and was ahead 5-4 on match point. Allen battled and won four straight points to tie the match at 5-5. Allen and Komar both claimed a game and sent the match into a third set tiebreaker.
In the tiebreaker, Allen was down 4-1 and won six out of the last seven points to secure the 6-4, 2-6, 7-6 (5) victory. The victory increased her season singles win total to 16, which includes seven wins over ranked opponents.
Senior Ellie Schoppe fell to No. 16 Dasha Vidmanova in a hard-fought, three-set match. Schoppe kicked off the
match with a 7-5 first set victory to take the lead. Vidmanova went on to take the second and third set to claim the 5-7, 6-4, 6-3 win.

STILLWATER, Okla. - Florida State's Vic Allen and Millie Bissett defeated the No. 34-ranked Tatsiana Sasnouskaya and Malaika Rapolu of Texas 6-3, 6-4 in the round of 32 in the NCAA Doubles Championship on Tuesday.
The pair kicked off doubles by securing the first set 6-3 to take the early lead. The duo continued their success in the second set, as they took the first three games.
Sasnouskaya and Rapolu responded by taking four out of the five next games to tie the match at 4-4.
Allen and Bissett, ranked 177th nationally in doubles, claimed the last two games of the second set to secure the 6-3, 6-4 victory. The pair will face the winner of Fiona Crawley/Carson Tanguilig of North Carolina and Loudmilla Bencheikh/Marie Hiser from Alabama in the round of 16 on Wednesday.
Allen fell in the round of 32 at the NCAA Singles Championship to No. 67 Annabelle Xu of Virginia. Despite the loss, Allen battled and trailed 3-1 in the second set and tied the match at 3-3. Xu went on to win 6-3, 6-3 to move on to the round of 16.
Allen finishes her FSU career with 88 wins in singles, which puts her 10th all-time in
total singles wins in Florida State women's tennis history.

STILLWATER, Okla. - Florida State's Vic Allen and Millie Bissett fell to the sixth-ranked Fiona Crawley and Carson Tanguilig of North Carolina 6-2, 6-2 in the round of 16 in the NCAA Doubles Championship on Wednesday.
The 17th-ranked Allen and Bissett grabbed the early lead as they won the first game and took the early 1-0 lead.
Crawley and Tanguilig responded by claiming six out of the next seven games to win the first set 6-2.
The pair yet again secured the first game in the second set to take the 1-0 lead. The duo went on to win another game later in the set, but fell short 6-2, 6-2.
The duo finished the season with 14 victories, including three ranked wins, and were named ACC Doubles Team of the Week in March this spring.
Allen finishes her Seminole career with 89 wins in doubles, which puts her fifth all-time in doubles wins. Combined with 88 singles victories, she is tied for seventh in program history with 177 total wins.
Florida State finished the season ranked 22nd in the final
ITA team rankings. The team earned 17 wins, which included nine ranked victories, while playing into the semifinal round of the ACC Tournament for the 20th time and advancing to the NCAA Tournament
for the seventh straight time.
