Seminoles Start Beach Bash 3-0.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The number two ranked Florida State Seminoles started their annual FSU Beach Bash with a 3-0 record defeating Coastal Carolina, No. 13 Cal Poly, and No. 20 Washington. The Seminoles went unbeaten in all but one game played today. The Seminoles move to 1-0 against Coastal Carolina, 7-0 against Cal Poly and 1-0 against Washington.

The Seminoles came out ready for their first dual of the season, winning every set against the Chanticleers. The Seminoles spared no time winning the first set on all courts.
Courts one, two, and four dominated, refusing to allow Coastal Carolina to take the lead in either set. Maddie Anderson and Paige Kalkhoff won quickly with set one 21-14 and set two 21-12 on court one. Alexis Durish and Raelyn White won 21-13 in both sets on court two. Alex Hilton and MaKenna Wolfe also defeated the Chanticleers 21-11 and 21-10 on court four.
On court five, Angeline Bergner and Carra Sassack won the first set easily 21-16. In the second set, the duo closed the set out well, winning a close 22-20 giving Florida State their third match point of the day.
On court three, Anna Long and Jordan Polo played great defensively, allowing them to keep both close sets in their favor. The duo took set one 21-15 and the second 21-18.

After a brief break, the Seminoles returned to the court to dominate No. 13, Cal Poly. On court one, Maddie Anderson and Paige Kalkhoff earned the win quickly, efficiently getting the 21-18 win. The second set provided some back-and-forth lead exchanges before the duo closed it out 21-17.
On court two, Alexis Durish and Raelyn White started slowly at the beginning of both sets before propelling themselves in the end to beat Cal Poly 21-17 and 21-16.
On court three, Anna Long and Jordan Polo were dominant. Only allowing the Mustangs to get 7 points in the first set. Quickly taking the win 21-7. Long and Polo rode their momentum from the first set into the second set. The pair was once again efficient taking the second set 21-12.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The number two ranked Florida State Seminoles started their annual FSU Beach Bash with a 3-0 record defeating Coastal Carolina, No. 13 Cal Poly, and No. 20 Washington. The Seminoles went unbeaten in all but one game played today. The Seminoles move to 1-0 against Coastal Carolina, 7-0 against Cal Poly and 1-0 against Washington.

The Seminoles came out ready for their first dual of the season, winning every set against the Chanticleers. The Seminoles spared no time winning the first set on all courts.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The number two ranked Florida State Seminoles started their season 5-0 after defeating two ranked teams at their annual Beach Bash tournament. On Sunday, Feb 26th, the Noles defeated No. 16 FIU 4-1 and No.19 South Carolina 4-1.
Florida State improved their all-time opening weekend record to 38-3 and their home record to 65-3.
No. 2 Florida State 4, No. 16 FIU 1
The Seminoles are now 11-2 all-time against the Golden Panthers. The first match point came from court one by the duo of Maddie Anderson and Paige Kalkhoff. The pair won two quick sets against the Golden Panthers 21-12 and 21-19.
Court five quickly followed suit with Carra Sassack and Chloe Charles defeating the FIU pair 21-17 and 21-18 in their first pairing together this season.
The match-clinching point was earned by Morgan Chacon and Caitlin Moon on court four. Moon and Chacon put together some close points against the Golden Panthers but held on to win both sets 21-19 and 21-18.
Even though the match was already won, court two and three went to three sets. On court two, Alexis Durish and Raelyn White stayed strong in the third set to win 15-12 after giving up the second set 18-21. The duo won a defensive first set 21-18 that forced the third set to be played.

GULF SHORES, Ala. - The No. 4 ranked Florida State Seminoles (12-1) took to the sand for the first day of the March to May Tournament, sweeping No. 19 Tulane and narrowly losing to No. 3 UCLA. Due to inclement weather and delays, all of today's matches were played to decision.

The Seminoles started March to May with a match against No. 19 Tulane. The two teams last met at this same tournament last year, where the Noles came away with a 5-0 win. This win moves the all-time record to 16-0 in favor of FSU.
On court two Anna Long and Jordan Polo took care of business playing a great defensive first set, not letting Tulane get to double-digit points, and winning 21-7. The second set was more of the same with Long and Polo quickly winning 21-10 giving the Noles their first dual point.
Morgan Chacon and Carra Sassack had a close first set, winning 21-18. The momentum carried over into the second set, and the pair quickly dominated the court winning 21-7 and giving FSU their second dual point.
On court five Makenna Wolfe and Alexis Durish battled for the Noles' third dual point. The pair swept the sets 21-14 and 21-13 giving the Noles the win.
Courts one, two, and three, went unfinished as the match had already been decided by the Seminoles' three dual points.

Maddie Anderson and Paige Kalkhoff battled on court one for two straight sets. The first set was a narrow 21-18 loss. The duo fought hard but dropped the second set 21-17, giving UCLA their first dual point.
On court five, Makenna Wolfe and Alexis Durish had a three-set bout. The first set went to extra points with Wolfe and Durish getting a 22-20 win. The UCLA pair came out hot in the second set, winning 21-16. The energy was at a high during the deciding third set on both sides with both teams going back and forth and Polo and Long playing great defense. Despite FSU's effort, UCLA won 15-12 in the third giving them their third dual point and the match win.

The Seminoles faced No. 6 LSU for the first time this season and it was a thriller.
Court five got the action rolling for the Seminoles with Alexis Durish and Makenna Wolfe refusing to drop a set to LSU. The pair won the first set 21-19, and with great defensive play took the win in the second set 21-15.
Shortly after, Caitlin Moon and Raelyn White gave the Noles their second dual point with a three-set bout. The duo dropped the first set by a close 21-17 score, then came out hot in the second set forcing extra points to get the 22-20 win. The third set went back and forth, but great play by Moon and White led to a 15-12 victory.

GULF SHORES, Ala. - The fourth-ranked Florida State Seminoles (15-2) won their last match of the March to May Tournament against No. 10 Georgia State. The Seminoles improved to 16-2 following the win.
FSU 5, No. 10 GSU 0
The Seminoles faced No. 10 Georgia State for the second time this season and won by the same 5-0 score.
Makenna Wolfe and Alexis Durish continued their undefeated weekend with another win on court five. The pair's defense was outstanding in holding GSU to under 10 points in the first set in their 21-9 win. Their great defense carried over to the second set providing the pair with a 21-16 win in the second set.
Caitlin Moon and Raleyn White were consistent in winning both of their sets 21-15 and 21-17. The duo had an impressive weekend with their only loss against No. 3 UCLA.
Maddie Anderson and Paige Kalkhoff had an impressive showing against the Sandy Panthers, winning the first set 21-16. The duo caught fire in the second set and did not allow Georgia State to get over 10 points with a 21-9 win, giving the Noles their third dual point of the match.
Anna Long and Jordan Polo were also dominant in their match. The pair won a quick first set 21-11. They carried the momentum into the second set with a 21-17 win.
Court three was a hard-fought three-set battle with Carra Sassack and Morgan Chacon getting the win and the fifth and final dual point for the Noles. Sassack and Chacon dropped the first set in extra points 22-20. The duo fought back in the second set and took it to extra points as well recording a narrow 24-22 victory. The third set was back and forth before the duo closed out strong winning 15-10.

Anna Long and Jordan Polo were efficient in giving the Noles their first dual point of the match. The pair won 21-8 in the first set and shut down the Islanders in the second set 21-10.
On court four Raelyn White and Caitlin Moon had similar success in their sets. The duo won 21-9 in the first set, but Moon and White did not let off the gas with a 21-10 win in the second set.
Alexis Durish and Makenna Wolfe continued their impressive dual history with their sixth consecutive win on court five since being paired together. Durish and Wolfe won the first set 21-14 and followed suit with a quick 21-9 victory in the second set.

The Seminoles opened up the second day of the LSU Invitational with a sweep over Spring Hill College.
Alexis Durish and Makenna Wolfe continued their impressive weekend with another win on court five. The duo won 21-15 in the first set and played a great defensive game in the second set to win 21-10 giving the Noles their first dual point.
Anna Long and Jordan Polo dominated court two in the first set winning 21-8. The pair kept the momentum going into the second set, which ended with a 21-14 win.
Caitlin Godwin and Audrey Koenig sealed the match point for the Seminoles on court three. The pair took the first set to extra points but pulled out a 22-20 win. The second set allowed Godwin and Koenig time to settle in and the pair clicked, winning 21-13 giving the Noles their third and final dual point.
Courts one and four went unfinished due to the matches going to decision.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The No. 3 Florida State Seminoles split day two of the Unconquered Invitational with two close matches. All matches were played to decision due to the weather.
No. 7 LMU 3, FSU 1
Florida State got off to a rocky start against No. 7 LMU. All but one court went to three sets.
Alexis Durish and Makenna Wolfe kept their set close, dropping the first set 21-19. The pair took the second set to extra points but LMU ultimately got the win 23-21.
On court two Audrey Koenig and Carra Sassack won the first set 21-18, then dropped the second set a very close 21-19. The third set was another close one as Koenig and Sassack fought hard to keep the set close. The duo battled but ended up dropping the set 15-13. This win gave LMU their second dual point.
Maddie Anderson and Paige Kalkhoff started the first set hot with a 21-12 win. The LMU pair fought back in the second set to win 21-19. Anderson and Kalkhoff found their groove in the third set and won 15-13.

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - The No. 4 Florida State Seminoles split day one of the Center of Effort Challenge, winning against No. 11 Long Beach State and losing to No. 2 USC.
FSU 4, No. 11 LBSU 1
The Noles got off to a hot start on court three. Jordan Polo and Anna Long made quick work in the first set, winning 21-14. The second set was closer but Polo and Long were able to hang on and win 21-18.
Caitlin Moon and Raelyn White won their first set 21-17. The pair then had a rocky start to the second set but pulled out a 21-19 win.
Carra Sassack and Audrey Koenig took court two to three sets. The pair won the first set 21-18, then dropped the second set 21-13. The third set was back-and-forth, but LBSU was able to pull out the 15-13 win, giving them their first dual point of the match.
Alexis Durish and Makenna Wolfe were also in a three-set fight on court five. The pair lost the first set 21-18, then took the second set to extra points before winning 22-20. The third set was all Wolfe and Durish, the pair won 15-7 and gave the Noles their third dual point of the match.

Another rematch of the 2022 National Championship and it did not disappoint.
Caitlin Moon and Raelyn White continued their streak from the earlier matches, winning the first set 21-16. The pair stayed hot in the second set and won 21-17.
Carra Sassack and Audrey Koenig kept both sets close as the pair lost both sets 21-19.
Anna Long and Jordan Polo fought hard on court two. The pair lost the first set 21-17 and had a back and forth second set that ended with USC getting the win 21-19.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The No. 4 ranked Florida State Seminoles went 1-1 on the second day of the CCSA Championships, winning against South Carolina and losing to TCU knocking them out of championship contention.

Alexis Durish and Makenna Wolfe did their thing on court five giving the Noles their first dual point of the match. Wolfe and Durish won the first set 21-13, then won the second set in similar fashion 21-13.

Carra Sassack and Morgan Chacon had close sets on court three. The duo won the first set 21-19, then had a back and forth second set before closing it out 21-19. This gave the Noles a 2-1 lead in the dual.
Anna Long and Jordan Polo had their first set go into extra points before getting the win 28-26. The second set was another close one but Long and Polo were able to pull out the 21-19 win.
Maddie Anderson and Paige Kalkhoff were in a three-set fight on court one. The first set Anderson and Kalkhoff won 21-18. The pair dropped the second set 21-16, then came back I the third set to win 15-11.

Alexis Durish and Makenna Wolfe had a rocky start to dual, dropping the first set 21-16. The pair could not gain momentum going into the second set, losing 21-11.

Noles Advance to the Quarter Final of NCAA Tournament.

GULF SHORES, Ala. - The Florida State Seminoles defeated Florida International 3-1 to advance to the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Tournament at Gulf Shores Public Beach in Gulf Shores, Ala.
FSU 3, FIU 1
Maddie Anderson and Paige Kalkhoff started things off hot for the Seminoles on court one by winning the first set 21-16. The pair kept their momentum and won their second set 21-15 to give the Noles their first dual point.
Audrey Koenig and Caitlin Moon tried to hold off the Panthers but lost in two straight sets, 21-17 and 21-19.
Anna Long and Jordan Polo had a great showing in the first round of the tournament. The pair won their first set 21-15 and came back and won the second set 21-15 to give the Noles their second dual point.
Raelyn White and Morgan Chacon won their first set on court three 21-15. The pair then were in a position to clinch the match in favor of the Noles. White and Chacon closed out their second set winning 21-17. Giving the Noles their third and final dual point.
Court five went to three sets before the match was called due to decision. Makenna Wolfe and Alexis Durish won their first set 21-17 and dropped the second 21-18. Wolfe and Durish were up in the third set 8-7 when the match was decided.

GULF SHORES, Ala. - The Florida State Seminoles won their quarter final match against LSU but came up short in the semi final against UCLA. The Bruins ended the Noles hope for another Championship appearance.
FSU 3, LSU 0
Makenna Wolfe and Alexis Durish got things going for the Seminoles on court five. The pair won in straight sets over the Tigers, 21-17 in the first and 21-14 I the second.
