Fullbrook Named All-ACC.

May 8, 2026

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Florida State women's golf sophomore Sophia Fullbrook was one of the 15 student-athletes named to the All-ACC Team on Friday.

The All-ACC Team selections are determined by a combination of the NCAA-approved individual national rankings and a vote by the conference's head coaches. Yearly award winners are selected by a vote of the league's 15 head coaches.

Fullbrook earns her first career All-ACC honor, after leading the Noles in 2025-26 behind two wins, six top 10 finishes and a 71.20 scoring average in 10 starts. She is listed as the No. 26 player in the NCAA Division I by the Scoreboard rankings.

Fullbrook earned back-to-back wins at the Florida State Match Up and Coach Mo Classic. Her consecutive wins in back-to-back starts, were the first since Mirabel Ting in 2024-25. Fullbrook won the Florida State Match Up tournament by five strokes, turning in a score of 10-under, 206 after rounds of 69, 67 and 70. At the Coach Mo Classic, Fullbrook was the leader in the clubhouse after two rounds following scores of 72 and 67. In the final round, Fullbrook slipped to third, but fought back in the final four holes after a birdie on the par four 393-yard 15th at the St. Johns Golf Club. She closed the tournament shooting 1-over, 73, tying for the win.

The St. Albans, England, native, finished in the top 15 in each of the first four tournaments to start the year, securing her highest at the Jim West Challenge where she tied for seventh behind scores of 73, 68 and 70 to finish at 5-under.

This season, Fullbrook has led the Noles to a pair of wins this season as well as two runner-up finishes.

Fullbrook and Gazzoli Lead Seminoles At Folds of Honor Collegiate.

September 8, 2025

By Chuck Walsh

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. - Sophomores Sophia Fullbrook and Alexandra Gazzoli carded scores of 74 and have led the No. 16 ranked Florida State women's golf team to a seventh place standing after the first round of the season-opening Folds of Honor Collegiate at the American Dunes Golf Club. Gazzoli and Fullbrook are tied for 13th in the individual standings and are only one stroke outside of the top-10 of the individual standings entering the second of three rounds on Tuesday.

Baylor, with two players in the top 10 of the individual standings, leads the team standings after the first round of play. The Bears hold a one stroke lead of Texas A&M and a three stroke lead over North Carolina. Anastasia Hekkonen of Kentucky holds the first round individual lead as she carded a six under score of 66. She is five strokes ahead of Baylor's Amelia Wan.

"The first round of the year was a little rough," said Seminole head coach Amy Bond. "However, there is a lot to learn from today. We have to continue to get better each day, learn from every round, and play to improve."

Florida State begins play in the second round just four strokes outside of fifth place in the team standings and just six strokes out of third place.

Fullbrook carded two birdies and 13 more holes scored at par to finish at 74. She was one under par on her back nine as she completed a clean card on her final nine holes.

Gazzoli carded a birdie on her first hole of the tournament and closed with 14 holes scored at par. She carded six consecutive and five consecutive birdies on two occasions during the round.

Florida State opened its season with two sophomores (Fullbrook and Gazzoli) and three newcomers (sophomore Elin Pudas Remler, along with freshmen Haruhi Nakatani and Haley Davis) in its lineup. Fullbrook and Gazzoli both played in Florida State's lineup on its 2025 ACC Championship team. The Seminoles' 2025 ACC Championship team won the NCAA Lexington Regional championship and finished in a program-best third place in the NCAA Championship Finals.

"We hit more quality shots today as compared to yesterday," said head coach Amy Bond. "I felt that each of the girls played really good golf when they settled in to playing the course. We knocked the rust off the clubs in the first round and got into a rhythm. I was very proud of their fight today. I am looking forward to seeing that fight again in the third round."

Fullbrook began her second round of play with a birdie on her first hole and stayed hot throughout the afternoon. She totaled four birdies on her first 15 holes and finished with a 1 under par score of 71. With her birdie on her first hole, Fullbrook was under par during the entirety of the second round.

By Chuck Walsh

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. - Sophomore Sophia Fullbrook finished in a tie for ninth place to lead the No. 16 Florida State women's golf team to a tie for sixth place finish at the season-opening Folds of Honor Collegiate at the American Dunes Golf Club. Fulbrook carded scores of 74-71-74 for a three-round total of three over par 219. She carded one birdie in the final round and seven birdies in the tournament. Fullbrook was never more than two strokes above par in either of the final two rounds of play.

Fullbrook Leads No. 16 Florida State Through First Two Rounds of Schooner Fall Classic.

September 20, 2025

By Chuck Walsh

NORMAN, Okla. - Sophomore Sophia Fullbrook is in a tie for 20th place in the individual standings, and the No. 16 Florida State women's golf team is in ninth place in the team standings after two rounds of play in the Schooner Fall Classic at the Belmar Golf Course. Fullbrook carded scores of 69 and 70 as the 16 teams in the event played 36 holes on the first day of the championship because of the threat of rain in the area on Sunday. The event is scheduled to be completed on Sunday with a third round of 18 holes.

Oklahoma State is in first place in the team standings as the Cowgirls carded under par team scores in both rounds of play on Saturday. The Cowgirls (first place), Oklahoma (third place), and Houston (fourth place) were the only three teams to card under par scores in the first two rounds of the championship. Oklahoma State leads Iowa State by eight strokes in the team standings. Oklahoma's Meg Tilma, who is playing as an individual, and Sydney Givens of Georgia, are in a tie for first place in the individual standings with identical eight under par scores of 132.

"Today was a good learning day for our young group," said head coach Amy Bond. "Lots of good solid golf but not many putts dropping to help move us up the leaderboard. The girls are all getting more comfortable in this environment; I fully expect them to bounce back with a strong showing in the third round."

Fullbrook led the Seminoles with scores of 69 and 70 for a 36-hole total of 139. She carded two birdies, and 17 holes scored a par or better in finishing with a 69 in her first round of the day. Fullbrook was 1 under par with one birdie and 11 holes scored at par on her final 12 holes of the first round. She began the second at birdie-birdie, finished with three second round birdies, and a score of even par 70.

Fullbrook Leads Seminoles Through Opening Day of Collegiate Invitational.

January 30, 2026

By Chuck Walsh

GUADALAJARA, Mexico - Florida State sophomore Sophia Fullbrook is in a tie for seventh place in the individual standings, and the No. 28 ranked Seminole women's golf team is in a tie for second place in the team standings after the first day of the Collegiate Invitational at the Guadalajara Country Club. The 12-team field played 27 of 54 holes on day one, and will complete the remaining 27 holes on Saturday.

Carmen Lim of Washington is the individual leader after the first round of play. She has a 7 under par score through the first 27 holes of play. No. 19 Oklahoma State is one over par after first 27 holes of the championship and hold the team lead entering the second round of play. The Cowgirls hold a five-stroke lead over Florida State and Tulsa.

Florida State begins play on Saturday looking to win the team championship of the Collegiate Invitational for the third consecutive season.

A victory for Florida State in the Collegiate Invitational would mark the second time in program history the Seminoles would have won the same tournament in three consecutive seasons. The Seminoles won the LSU Fairwood Invitational in 1987, 1988 and 1989.

"We did a good job of working the winter kinks out today," said head coach Amy Bond. "Each of the girls did a really good job on stretches of holes that I think they can gain confidence from.

"We made way too many bogies today and we have to turn that around tomorrow. I'm hopeful that we will be more strategic with some of our decision-making and execute better wedge shots. We are hoping the lid on the cup opens up earlier than it did today."

Fulbrook carded an even par score of 72 in round one and finished the first nine holes of the second round with a 1 under par score of 35. She punctuated her first day with an eagle 3 on the par five hole No. 9. She totaled five birdies on her way to her 1 under par score. Fullbrook was never more than one stroke over par during either round of play.

Sophomore Elin Pudas Remler carded scores of 70 and 39 for a 27-hole total of 109. She was in a tie for eighth place following her first round score of 2 under par 70. She carded three birdies and was two under par on her back nine in the first round.

Freshman Haruhi Nakatani and sophomore Alexandra Gazzoli are tied for 28th place with 27-hole scores of four over par 112.

January 31, 2026

GUADALAJARA, Mexico - The No. 28 ranked Seminole women's golf team captured the team title at the Collegiate Invitational at Guadalajara Country Club, marking Florida State's third consecutive win at the event. After beginning the final day in second place, the Seminoles posted a strong final round to move into first and secure the victory.

Sophomore Sophia Fullbrook led Florida State throughout the tournament, carding rounds of 72, 70, and 72 to finish tied for sixth in the individual standings.

"It's always great to start the year with a win," said head coach Amy Bond. "After our start yesterday, I though the girls showed a lot of heart and stuck to their process. They came into today knowing they had to chase down the leaders and they were able to do that by hitting one shot at a time."

Florida State played its best round of the event with a 4 under par score of 284 in the final round. The Seminoles began the final round trailing Oklahoma State by two strokes and played their third round five strokes better than the Cowgirls to earn the three shot victory. Florida State's round of 4 under par 284 was one of three under par team rounds during the tournament.

The Seminoles carded 17 birdies in the final round including five by Elin Pudas Remler, four by Fullbrook, four by Alexandra Gazzoli, three by Layla Pedrique, and one by Haruhi Nakatani.

In finishing in a tie for sixth place in the individual standings with scores of 72-70-72 and a three round total of 2 under par 214, Fullbrook tied her career best for an individual finish. She also finished in a tie for sixth place at the Folds of Honor Collegiate in the Fall of 2024.

Pudas Remler finished in a tie for 10th place with scores of 70-77-69 for a three round total of even par 216. She earned the third career top-10 finish of her career and her first as a Seminole.
