13, 2004, page 10. Neil LaBar, 74, formerly of Binghamton and Florida,
died on Thursday, March 11, 2004, at Good Shepherd Fairview Nursing Home.
He was born in N. Hornell, NY, on September 16, 1929. He was predeceased by
his wife, Marion LaBar on May 5, 2003 and father, Lee LaBar. He is survived
by his son, Brett LaBar and his fiancee, Amber Krieger, Orlando, Fla.;
mother, Marion Peck, Binghamton; aunts and uncle, Geri and Charles
Salisbury, Velma Emerson; cousins, Charles and Nancy Salisbury, Marilou and
Michael Gabello, Alan and Cheryl Salisbury; also several in-laws and
friends in Florida. He graduated from JCHS in 1948 and Florida State
University in 1957. He served in the US Army 1951-1953. A father who
transcended parenthood by showing more love and compassion for his family
and the world. -Never asking, "Why Me?"
