Alexander Lee Lewis Obituary. Published in the Herald Tribune, Sarasota, Fla. on May 11, 2006. Dr. Alexander L. Lewis, 72, Sarasota,
died May 1, 2006. He was born Dec. 15, 1933, in Canton, Ohio, and came to
Sarasota from there 40 years ago. He retired as a music professor at
Manatee Community College and was an Army veteran. He was a member of
Presbyterian Church of the Covenant. Survivors include his wife of 50
years, Kathryn; a daughter, Kerry Lawson of Lewisville, N.C.; sons Don of
Atlanta and Kevin of Winter Springs; a sister, Patricia Nakron of
Cleveland; and five grandchildren. |
