Donald McEvoy Loop of Fleming Island, FL passed away on Sunday
August 22nd, 2021.
Don was born February 15th, 1941, to Elizabeth McEvoy
Loop and Donald Monroe Loop.
Don graduated from Jacksonville University
and later in life received a master'sdegree from University of North
Florida. He had a long 30 plus year career in chemical sales starting in
field sales after college and eventually becoming President of Betz
Paperchem Inc.
Don was an active church member of River Christian Church
in Fleming Island, FL.
Don was a state ranked tennis player during many
decades of his life and was an avid fan and competitive player of tennis.
He also enjoyed boating and time with his family.
He will be remembered
for his love of family, strong work ethic, discipline with his finances and
being the touch stone so many of us went to for advice.
Don is survived
by his wife Nancy Loop of Fleming Island, FL, siblings Nancy Loop Boyette
of Ormond Beach and brother Damon Loop of Fernandina FL, his adult children
Davis Loop of San Diego CA and Mary Loop Kust of Charlotte NC and his
grandchildren Lily Kust and Liam Kust of Charlotte NC.
