Max B. Woitschek, 57, formerly of St. Petersburg, died Sunday (Aug. 14, 1983) in Slidell, La. A native of St. Petersburg, he was a graduate of Florida State University. He was a meteorologist with the National Weather Service, working in Koror, Ponape and Guam islands and later in New Orleans and Slidell. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a Catholic. Survivors include his wife Mihoko, a daughter Odette Woitaschek, and a son Andrew, all of Slidell; his parents, Russell and elle Woitschek of New Port Richey; two sisters, June Smith, Stockton, Calif., and Mae Wiggins, New Port Richey.
