Patricia Ann Dowdle Obituary. Published by South Florida Sun Sentinel on 12 Oct 1993, page 14. Pati Lehman, interior decorator Pati Dowdle Lehman, an interior decorator, died on Saturday shortly after a car collided with her bicycle as she rode on Key Biscayne. She was the daughter of James C. Dowdle, president and chief executive officer of Tribune Broadcasting Company Inc. Mrs. Lehman, 32, was riding on a bike path next to Crandon Boulevard when a 1988 Mazda hit her bike from the rear, police said. She died of head injuries at Jackson Memorial Hospital. The Mazda's driver, Jose Ramon Lopez, 47, of Key Biscayne, stopped at the accident scene. Mrs. Lehman had lived on Key Biscayne with her husband, Michael Burke Lehman, for six years. They have a daughter, Wendy Rosemary, 2, and a 6-week-old son, Michael. Mrs. Lehman was born in Chicago. She was a graduate of Florida State University and held a degree in interior design. In addition to her husband and
children, Mrs. Lehman is survived by her parents, Sally and James C.
Dowdle; three sisters, Colleen Burke, of Chicago, Jeanne Dwyer, of Chicago,
and Sarah Tyrrell of Tampa; and brother, Jim Dowdle, of Chicago. |
