Jerry E. Rowe, a resident of
Pembroke, Mass., since 1979, died suddenly at the Brockton Hospital on
Saturday, July 30.
He was born and raised in Williamsburg and was a
graduate of James Blair High School. He graduated from Florida State
University in 1973 with a bachelor's degree in political science. He worked
for many years as a bookkeeper at the Longyear Museum in Brookline.
He
was active in the First Church of Christ, Scientist in Duxbury. He was an
accomplished trumpet player and played in the South Shore Bay Band. He
loved spending time learning about God, and playing with his family and
friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lynn Rowe; his children,
Callie and Benjamin Rowe, all of Pembroke; his sister, Sandra Lynne Merritt
of Bedford; and his in-laws, Robert and Ann Byington of Duxbury.
