Corpus Christi - Ronald Edward Pickett, age 92, passed away April 19, 2023 in Corpus Christi, TX. He was born on April 14, 1931 to Robert and Doris Pickett in Daytona Beach, FL. Ronald was raised in Daytona Beach, FL and graduated from Seabreeze High School in 1949; he also graduated from Florida State University in 1953. Ronald served in the Air Force from 1954 - 1974 achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

Ronald married his wife of 68 years, Katherine, on August 1, 1954. He will always be remembered for his love of laughter and of dancing, his kindness to everyone; he also loved growing roses, orchids and hibiscus. Ronald was also the operator of the largest Air Force Club and a member and elder of Grace Presbyterian Church.

Ronald is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Doris Pickett, brothers Dick Pickett and Jack Pickett.

Ronald is survived by his wife Katherine, daughters Pamela Ann Cantu (Edward) and numerous cousins.
