Was His Business He was an extraordinary man who led an extraordinary life.
A life full of life. His honor and intentions will live through the lives
of his children, wife, former wife and grandchildren. He was a critical
thinker. He was a worry-wart. He was pragmatic. He was compassionate. He
was involved. He was a giver. He loved college football. But most of all he
gave us life. Professionally he was a success. He worked for Kelvinator,
Admiral and Teledyne Packard Bell. He ventured into the real estate
business thirty years ago. He definitely made his mark in Arizona. His only
regret in life was not pursuing a singing career. Music and song were his
passion. His mom, Alma, had one of the first all female bands in the
country. It was through her life of music that his love for it began. He
was a crooner with a soft, soothing tone. He was a whistler and a damn good
one at that. The sadness begins with his grandchildren, Collin, Morgan,
Sean, Taylor and Dakota and the feeling that they'll be deprived of his
intellect, wit, and love. His desire to be as involved with them, even as
his illness began to take its toll, was unmistakable. So the conversation
must continue. The intent of his mind, the crispness of his words, the
passion of his heart and the humor with which he viewed life cannot ever
fade away. It is beyond our capacity to think how much we will miss him.
With much love, Lynn, Kim, Chris, Kelly, Carole, Ben, Trent, Collin,
Morgan, Sean, Taylor, Dakota. Bob Morrison loved nature.....saw the
significance of a simple tree. He knew the positive impact of their
contribution to the pulse of the earth and their beauty. It would bring joy
to know a tree was planted in his honor. And it will be in his honor that
the trees surrounding the Arizona State Capitol Building in downtown
Phoenix, will be planted and dedicated to him.
