Raymond Eugene (Gene) LeaMond Jr., 73, of Longwood, FL, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2008. Creativity and artistic expression were a major part of Gene's life. He filled our lives with his wonderful paintings. Later in life, he became involved in the performing arts. He was a character actor and set designer in numerous local theatre productions. His zest for life included many hobbies: Seminole football, movies, sailing, and traveling. Survived by his wife Jean E., Longwood, FL; daughter, Beth LeaMond, Greenbelt, MD; son, Tom LeaMond and wife, Lisa Stokes, Takoma Park, MD; brother-in-law, Larry Kennerer and wife Connie, Parkville, MO; sister-in-law, Carol Schlotzhauer and husband, Roger, Lee Summit, MO.
