Charles Scudder Mead Obituary.

15, 1970, page 7. Charles Scudder Mead Sr., 35, of 145 Manring Drive,
Ft. Walton, died early Tuesday in the Brooke Army Hospital.
He was a
former resident of Pensacola and a native of San Antonio, Tex., but had
resided in Ft. Walton the past two years. He was a member of the
Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, pastor of the Ft.
Walton mission of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day
Saints and a former pilot in the U.S. Air Force.
He was a graduate of
Pensacola High School, Auburn University, Penn State University, a member
of the Parkway Kiwanis Club in Ft. Walton and a Civil Service employee at
Eglin Air Force Base.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Carole Ann Mead
of Ft. Walton; a son, Charles Scudder Mead Jr.; two daughters, Roddi Renee
Mead and Elizabeth Lee Mead; all of Ft. Walton; his mother, Mrs. Flora D.
Mead, widow of the late George E. Mead, of Pensacola; a brother, George R.
Mead of Pensacola; and a sister, Mrs. Suzanne Wagg of Pensacola.
