Vernon H. Matheis, 69, died Thursday, Dec. 1, 2005, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

He owned and operated Regal Mills in Haysville and was an Air Force veteran.

Surviving are his wife, Sherri; son, Michael; daughters. Lisa Luegers, Robin Knies, Jane Durcholz and Mindy Bueltel; sisters, Lois Jean Neukam and Diane Craig, 16 grandchildren; a great-grandson.
