William Bunker Obituary Published by Tallahassee Democrat on Jan. 15, 2006. William V. "Bill" Bunker, 68, died Thursday, Jan. 12, 2006. He was
born in West Palm Beach and attended high school in Madison. In 1959, he
graduated from Florida State University, where he was sports information
director in the mid-1960s. He moved to the Clearwater area, where he was
executive director of the Pinellas Sports Authority. He was retired from
the U.S. Marine Corps and was an accredited public relations professional.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Andrea; a son, Jack Bunker of
Arlington, Va.; two daughters, Connie Martin of Colorado Springs, Colo.,
and Anne Matthews of Pleasanton, Calif.; two stepsons, Eric Caleen of
Clearwater and Michael Caleen of Cary, N.C.; his mother, Coleen Bunker of
Tallahassee; a sister, Coleen Ash of Tallahassee; and 10 grandchildren. |
