Prickett, Ronald B., a retired firefighter for the City of Miami who served for 27 years, passed away October 13, 1992. He died from the disease ALS, commonly known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. He is survived by this wife, Laura; her sons, Curtis and Scott Pendergraft; daughter, Tina; grandson, Corey and Ron's son and daughter, Derek Prickett and Kami Spangenberg; son-in-law, Richard; parents, Charles and Lois Prickett; brother, Wayne and sister-in-law, Patricia Prickett. He was respected in his field and would like to be remembered as a good firefighter and "Mr. Sunshine."
