James Allan Scheller Obituary. Published by Evansville Courier and Press on Jan 8, 2006, page 22. James A. Scheller, 55, of Evansville, passed away Friday, January 6, 2006, at St. Mary's Medical Center. Jim was associated with Mediamite, and previously was a health facility administrator. He was a graduate of Memorial High School where he was active in sports. He was awarded a baseball scholarship to Florida State University, where his team played in the championship game of the College World Series. He later graduated from the University of Southern Indiana, and formerly taught and coached elementary school in Tell City. Jim was a dedicated, loving father to his twins and enjoyed coaching their sporting events. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. He is survived by his twin sons, Evan and Cameron Scheller; his mother, Lennie Scheller; brothers, William M. Scheller, Jr. and his wife, Patricia; Ronald E. Scheller and his wife Laurie. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews, William, Daniel, Elizabeth, Jessica, Lindsey and Abby Scheller. Jim is
preceded in death by his father, William M. Scheller, Sr., in March of
1991. |
