Albert Joseph Zyla Obituary. Published in The Herald-News, Passaic, New Jersey, 5 Nov 2002, page 27. Fairfield, N.J. - Albert J. Zyla, 65, died Sunday. Born in Garfield, he lived there before moving here 35 years ago. A 1960 graduate of Florida State University, he received his master's degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1985 and a degree from Seton Hall Law School in 1990. Mr. Zyla was an attorney with Zyla and Schuetz, Clifton, for 10 years before retiring last year. He was a parishioner of St. Thomas More R.C. Church, Fairfield, and a member of Knights of Columbus Council 6380. He was a member and past president of the Florida State University Alumni Association. Surviving are his wife, the former
Katherine Miller; three sons, Timothy, Jeffrey and Dennis all of Fairfield;
a daughter, Coleen Oyler of Gilbert, Ariz.; two brothers, Eugene Krawiec of
Toms River and Theodore Krawiec of Suffield, Conn.; a sister, Elaine
Benante of Long Valley; and five grandchildren. |
