Wayne M. Hodges, 94, of Tallahassee died Sunday, November 17, 2024.

Wayne was born in St. Petersburg on July 16, 1930. He graduated from Pasco High School and later attended and graduated from Florida State University, where he played football. At FSU he met his wife, Norma McIntosh. They were married on August 15th, 1953.

He worked at various state agencies for 47 years. The majority of that time was with the Auditor General's office. After retirement, Wayne worked with the Florida Legislature for 14 years. He was active in Kiwanis and was an avid golfer. He also was a member of Big Bend Senior Golf Club and Southwood Seniors Golf Club. Wayne was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church since 1956.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents Louis Sr. and Edna Hodges and his grandson Corporal Craig Hodges Jr., USMC. Survivors include his wife, Norma and two sons, Mark, Tallahassee, Craig and Sally Hodges, Orlando and granddaughter, Cathryn Hodges, Tampa.
