James Sie Ralston, 79, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away April 23, 2010 at home. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Charlaine; Children Michael (Sue), Patrick, Cynthia (Billy Bob), and Keith (Jennifer); 4 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, and twin great grandchildren.

Mr. Ralston was born in Tampa, attended Brandon High School, and graduated from FSU with a degree in Physical Education. He was a member of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity (charter member), Phi Mu Alpha, Omicron Delta Kappa and Gold Key at FSU. During his life, he had 2 great passions; sports and music. He coached the FSU Freshman Baseball team, managed youth teams at NE Little League and played Softball in the St. Pete Church League for many years. He sang the lead in the premier of Carlisle Floyd's "Slow Dusk" and was a dedicated church musician. He was an active member and ordained Deacon at First Baptist Church of St. Petersburg. Jim was proud to be a Sgt. in the 11th Airborne Div, and his volunteer service with Campers On Mission, Bay Pines Out Patient Pharmacy, Wordless Books Ministry, Anchor Fellowship Choir of FBC and his work with the Supervisor Of Elections Education Dept. He owned his electrical agency for many years and ended his working life as V.P. at A Randy's Electric. Many will remember his glorious tenor voice, his jovial manner and his love of family.
