Carmine A. "Lum" Lombardi, Jr., age 82, entered into eternal peace on December 15, 2013 in Gainesville, Florida.

Carmine, also known as "Lum" was born in Nyack, New York on November 19, 1931 to the late Carmine A. and Carmella (Capobianco) Lombardi Sr. After high school at Hillsborough High in Tampa Florida, Lum attended Florida State University where in his freshman year, he was on the university's undefeated football team. He later joined the United States Air Force serving a distinguished decorated 33-year career. He retired a Chief Master Sargent, Nuclear Missile Maintenance. He enjoyed all activities in the outdoors, especially fishing, home repairs and woodworking. He dedicated his time to the Boy Scouts of America and the Knights of Columbus in Spokane and in Keystone Heights, Florida.

Lum was preceded in death by his former wife of 39 years, Clara E. Lombardi, his brother Mario Lombardi. Survivors include wife Patsy (Miller) Lombardi, and extended family in Florida, as well as one brother Richard A. Lombardi who resides in New York City, NY, his three children, all in Spokane: James A. Lombardi, Robert A. Lombardi, Julie Pangburn (Steve) as well as three grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
