William "Bill" J. Kelly, age 83, of Ormond Beach, passed away at home on Sunday, February 19th, 2012.

William "Bill" was born in Daytona Beach on March 10th, 1928 to the late Dr. John J. Kelly and Lucy Ann Sampsel Kelly. He graduated from Mainland High School in 1946. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. William attended FSU and was recalled into the Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from Southern Bell Telephone Company after 30 years "The Kid".

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Emma Ailiff Kelly; his parents; brothers, John J. Kelly Jr., of Cleveland, Ohio, and Henry C. Kelly, of Plant City, Florida.

He is survived by his children: son, Lawrence Kelly, of Lake Butler; daughters, Nancy Purdy, of Holly Hill, and Sandra Brown, of Alachua, Florida; and sister, Rosemary Laudenslager, of DeLand, Florida. William "Bill" will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
