George Harmon Morgan, 92, of St. Augustine, FL passed away Friday, May 25. George was born in Jacksonville, FL on January 25, 1926. He graduated from Ketterlinus High School in 1944 where he played football and was a track star holding the pole vault record for many years. He served in the Navy right out of high school while attending college and continued to play football. George was an avid golfer his entire life. He was very mischievous and loved to tell stories and jokes. He was a lifetime member of the Elks Club #829, Florida State Golf Association, Inc., and the FSU Alumni Association.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Elizabeth "Betty" Morgan; His son Jack Morgan; His daughter, Renee (Gary) Allman; Two grandchildren, Tanner Allman and Morgan Allman, all of St. Augustine, FL: and several nieces.
