Lemuel A. Davis, 72, Bahama Circle, Ormond Beach, died Wednesday, Jan. 8. Mr. Davis was the owner of Davis Insurance Services. Born in Perry, he moved to Central Florida in 1973. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors: wife, Edvidge; sons, Jim Goodin, Kettering, Ohio, Wesley, Gainesville, Randy, Ormond Beach; daughters, Cheryl Dutsch, Slidell, La., Margaret Gorby, Beavercreek, Ohio, Mary Ridenhour, Matthews, N.C., Elizabeth Mathinson, Altamonte Springs, Donna Lehman, Minneapolis; sisters, Kathryn Hoffman, Crystal River, Mary Neece, Boulder, Colo,; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
