Wallace Franklin Dale Obituary. Published in the Sun Sentinel, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., 9 Jul 2023, page B9. Wallace F. Dale, "Wally" passed
away peacefully at home on May 30, 2023, in Coral Springs, Broward County,
Florida at the age of 81. Born October 10, 1941, to Howard and Mary Ellen
Dale in Portsmouth, Ohio. Wally moved to Coral Gables, Florida his junior
year and graduated from Coral Gables High School in 1959. He received a
basketball scholarship from Florida State University where he met and
married his wife Mary Berch of 48 years. While at Florida State, Wally
owned two service stations and earned his master's degree. After
graduation, Wally then began his 35-year career with State Farm Insurance
as an agent, district manager, and executive consultant for the home
office. Following thereafter, he went to work for the Princeton Consulting
Group. Wally was active with many civic and non-profit organizations during
his life with a true passion for helping people. As a friend, advisor,
teacher, mentor, and father figure his legacy will leave a mark and live on
through his family and friends who knew him. Wallace is survived by his
pre-deceased wife Mary Berch Dale, son Thomas Dale 57, wife (Jaqueline)
Dale 49, grandsons Blake 29, Jackson 5, daughter Jennifer Rupert , husband
(Chris) Rupert 61, grandsons Zackary 25, John 17, son Berch Dale 53,
grandson Berch 11. |
