- One of the state's top players as a senior at Twin Lakes High last year...finished runner-up for state's "Mr. Basketball" title joining Seminoles Irving Thomas and David White in that
distinction...pure guard who has the skill to play either the point or second position...excellent shooter with good vertical leap...named to state's AAU team two times making him one of the rare
athletes to make the team as a sophomore...listed by Basketball Weekly as one of its top 75 seniors...superb ball-handling skills and exciting offensive game combine to make Hands a legitimate star of
the future at Florida State...garnered honorable mention all-american honors from USA Today newspaper...member of Basketball Times Super Sixty All-Americans...put on a show at a fivestar camp over the
