Richard L. "Dick" Sweetman died Nov. 26, 2018. Born to Henry "Hank" and Margaret Sweetman Dec. 11, 1934, in St. Petersburg, FL, Dick graduated from St. Petersburg High in 1952 and then FSU. He settled in Newport News, VA, working for Beecroft and Bull in men's clothing. He is survived by his wife, Anne; sister, Nancy McGarry; sons, Stuart and Stephen; and grandson, Sullivan.
